I absolutely love these cookies, and they're really simple to make.
They won't compare to the real thing, but they'll definitely help curb any cravings you've got for junk food.
Ingredients
| 1 | c | almond butter |
| 1 | egg, whole | |
| 1 | T | applesauce, unsweetened |
| 1⁄2 | c | dates, unsweetened, chopped |
| 2 | T | coconut, flakes, dessicated |
| 6 | pk | truvia sweetener |
| 1 | t | allspice |
| 2 | t | cinnamon |
Notes
You can use this as a great starter recipe to suit your needs. Feel free to substitute other dried fruit for the chopped dates, and other spices for the cinnamon and allspice.
Instructions
1 packet of Truvia = ~3/4tsp of Truvia granules.
Beat all ingredients together. It should be a thick batter, but not as thick
as cookie dough. Drop by tablespoons on a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven (around
375) until they start to go golden, about 10-12 minutes.
Allow to cool, then eat!
