Grappling Again
I'm finally getting a chance to do some grappling again. I did some Judo and BJJ drills over at the new LA Boxing gym in Baton Rouge today. A very cool place with a great atmosphere. It makes you want to work out when you walk in the door. It's not just for fighters though, they have a decent selection of workout equipment too.
This is very different from the Snap Fitness that I currently train out of. Don't get me wrong, you can have a great workout at Snap - they've got a power rack, dumbbells, a cable machine, etc.
The problem is that the typical person goes in there to sit on their rear-end the entire time and drool all over themselves while watching TV and doing spastic monkey sit-ups on the "sit-up machine."
That thing will destroy your lower back if you use it enough. Stay away from it!
Do you really need to sit on your butt the entire day?
Including your workout?
No.
Move like a human being for once.
